Task: Assignment for TechComm Fundamentals Class
Project: Reference Sheet
2023
Employees at customer service companies often sit at their desks for extended periods during the work day. This presents a problem of keeping employees aware of technical information in a way that is worth their attention. This sample was produced as a class assignment, not for a specific client. I produced this one-page reference document to show how complex information presented in a clear and memorable format. This kind of document could be kept in an employee's cubicle as a useful reminder.
Task: Personal Assignment
Project: Instructions for Assembly
2023
Chihee is a Chinese company specializing in quality, handmade household items. The original document is from the Chihee assembly manual for a C-stand. The instructions included only a diagram with no words at all. Chihee is not my client, but I re-wrote the document, adding necessary information including what was in the box, how to assemble the item, and contact information for the company, in a more professional and useful format.

Project: Quick Start Guide
2023
Ninja is a company that makes small kitchen appliances such as pressure cookers and air fryers. I own one of their devices and my device did not come with a Quick Start guide, which is a very useful tool for a customer. Ninja is not my client, and I created this sample as a class assignment, not for use by any client. This sample Quick Start Guide makes effective use of white space and graphics, and it includes all the information a customer would need to begin using the appliance.
