Clarise Nixon, MA

Clarise Nixon has worked as an English professor in higher education for over 10 years. She studied at Oakwood University for her bachelor’s degree in English/Professional Writing and at Belmont University for her master’s degree in English, and is certified in Cultural Intelligence (2018) and Emotional Intelligence (2021). She is co-founder of CP Nix, an educational consulting company whose aim is to make complex ideas simple and accessible to everyone. She has co-authored a book with her brother and business partner, Paul Nixon, the most recent titled God Is A Person: Discovering God for Yourself. They are currently working on their next book together. Clarise considers editing her superpower and has been a copyeditor for almost 15 years. She finds it as part of her purpose to make more evident the natural connections between critical thinking, cultural intelligence, and emotional intelligence to aid in spiritual authenticity and growth.
